MINIVEEZ: Precision Edge Beveling Made Easy—Even on Plastic

Following a request from a major international customer—a manufacturer of plastic labels and signs—we conducted a trial using the MINIVEEZ machine.

We used samples provided by the customer and selected this machine primarily for its compact design and smooth speed control, which is essential for machining plastic materials. Unlike working with steel and other metals, plastic requires high cutting speeds to avoid chipping or tearing the edges.

The machine allows for both manual feeding and the use of an auxiliary feeding device (Veezy version). The feeding device not only improves precision and speeds up the process but also enhances operator safety, especially for smaller workpieces.

Machining is handled by a high-speed cylindrical cutter equipped with a set of indexable inserts. The test ran without any issues, and all sample sizes provided were beveled and finished flawlessly.
